Chinese panda saved from drowning

sichuan - Chinese rescue workers recently rescued a wild panda that had fallen and almost slipped in the strong current of a hydroelectric plant.

The animal had probably fallen into the water when he tried to cross a river and had nowhere to go, as can be seen in images of the rescue.

Rescuers have been working long hours to help the bear in distress. Eventually they sedated him so he could be hoisted.

The panda is put back into nature after his dangerous adventure.
