China and Iran from expanding trade agreement

tehran - China and Iran are Saturday agreed on expanding their trade relations to the tune of $ 600 billion (556 billion euros) over the next ten years.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani met Saturday to discuss further cooperation and expansion of relations in the next 25 years. The meeting follows the lifting of international trade sanctions against Iran.

Rohani told the Iranian news agency IRNA that the visit of Jinping the beginning of an important era in the relations between China and Iran . Jinping is the first Chinese president in 14 years that Iran is honored by a visit. China is Iran's largest trading partner; in 2014 was 52 billion dollars (48.1 billion euros) traded between the two countries. That amount has decreased sharply due to falling oil prices.
