Chimpanzee put Japanese city on stilts

- Police and employees of a zoo on Thursday had their hands full with the Japan Sendai escaped chimpanzee Cha Cha.

Cha Cha had climbed after its outbreak in a telephone pole and refused to even come down. On images to see how he rushes over the telephone cables and aggressive jab at those trying to catch him.

Eventually the monkey from a platform hit with a tranquilizer dart. Not much later the animal falls down and is collected by rescue workers.

The owner of the zoo has apologized for the inconvenience it has caused two-hour adventure Cha Cha, according to Japanese media.
