Children go FARC abandoned rebel camp

bogota - Children sitting in the Colombian guerrilla movement FARC, will soon be leaving the rebel camp. That negotiators from the Colombian government and FARC agreed at peace talks.

'We have reached an agreement that we get the children out of the war,' responded Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos on Twitter. Children under 14 years will be fully acquitted. Children between 14 and 18 are at least acquitted of rebellion.

Peace talks are conducted since late 2012. The conflict in Colombia between state security forces, FARC and right-wing paramilitaries, the bloodiest conflict in Latin America. More than 220 000 were killed and displaced millions more in recent decades.
