- Smartphones, iPads and computer screens are not good for children. That is the disturbing conclusion of the internationally renowned German memory researcher Manfrid Spitzer. 'The monotonous swipe a tablet screen does not contribute to brain structure and development of the brains.'
Spitzer argues that even more children really need to play with their hands because they would otherwise be later bad at math.
He calls the 'Steve Jobs schools, where textbooks are redeemed for tablets, 'child abuse.'
