Car lands in Utrecht canal

utrecht - A motorist Sunday morning landed in the Utrecht canal after he was flown out of the turn at the height of the Park Lepelenburg the Maliesingel. The driver himself could leave the car and went to the inner city, reports RTV Utrecht.

Bystanders called 112. The fire department has sought some time for possible victims, who were not found. The car sank to the bottom of the canal.
