Busy at funeral Bush: 1500 people on duty

houston - The former American 'first lady' Barbara Bush was remembered at her funeral Saturday as a caring personality who put the public matter above her own interest.

About 1500 mourners came together in the church in Houston for the funeral of the former President George H. W. Bush's wife. She passed away last week.

The 93-year-old Bush was in a wheelchair during the funeral. Among those present were Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama and George W. Bush and wife Laura. The current head of state Donald Trump was the great absentee. He had delegated his wife Melania. Trump had said he did not want to tax the funeral because of the extra security measures that should be taken at his presence. Through Twitter, Trump said he was 'with his thoughts and prayers with the entire Bush family'.
