Business journal Fortune in Thai hands

des moines (anp/bloomberg) - The American business magazine Fortune has a new owner. The Thai businessman Chatchaval Jiaravano buys the magazine and Fortune-related parts from media company Meredith. Jiaravano, who is the founder and owner of conglomerate Charoen Pokphand Group, pays 150 million dollars for the brand.

The new owner will own Fortune in his own name, but does not interfere with the course of events. He promised the necessary means to make Fortune the leading brand for business media.
