Broader EU research into datalek Uber

brussels - European regulators are examining the large data breach at Uber that came to light on Tuesday. The attack by hackers who had been kept secret by the company behind the eponymous taxi app for a year, will be discussed next week in Brussels.

The European Working Party on Data Security Article 29 Working Party, in which representatives from the supervisors of all 28 EU countries are represented, has put the subject on the agenda. Previously, regulators in various countries have already been investigating the consequences of the data breach.
