British queen in military troops parade
london - With a colorful military parade in central London celebrates Britain Saturday the ninetieth birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. Thousands of people cheered the Queen far as she rode in an open carriage from Buckingham Palace to the exercise site for the Horse Guards Parade.
The queen was for the occasion dressed in bright green with matching hat. At her side was husband Prince Philip (95) with garde uniform and a cap of bearskin. Following the Queen under a cloudy sky took the traditional parade Trooping the Colour 'off.
Guard Regiments in red uniforms and with berenvelmutsen marched to the queen and the prince over. Many other members of the royal family were present. More than a thousand soldiers and hundreds of horses took part in the show.
