After earlier defense minister Michael Fallon resigned due to an incident in the past, a parliamentary member was temporarily suspended by his Labor party because of inappropriate behavior against a female colleague.
The May Code of Conduct published on the Conservative Party's website indicates how selected and appropriate party members should behave. There are also definitions of discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying. In a letter on the parliamentary code, May writes that the parties should take more responsibility to protect staff.
