British couple guilty of murdering French au pair (21)

london - A London court has found a British couple guilty of the murder of their 21-year-old French au pair Sophie Lionnet, the BBC reports. The wife of the couple was obsessed with the delusion that her ex-boyfriend and the au pair colluded to sexually abuse them.

The victim was interrogated and tortured for weeks. After they killed the girl, they burned her body in the garden.

The couple confessed to having burned the body of the girl, but denied having killed her. The body was too badly burned to detect a cause of death. The judge will determine on June 26 which sentence the 40-year-old Ouissem Medouni and the 35-year-old woman Sabrina Kouider will receive.
