Brazil will continue Lula

- The Brazilian justice pursue former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. That confirmed the Prosecution in São Paulo Wednesday (local time), without going into detail about the charges. Lula's lawyer declined to comment.

The former president was earlier this month interrogated hours by the police because of a major investigation into corruption. Which focuses on fraud in connection with state companies, particularly oil company Petrobras. The house was searched by Lula.

The former leader of the Socialist PT (Workers Party) denied earlier that he has enriched himself personally. Lula was from 2003 to 2011 president of Brazil. He was succeeded by fellow party Dilma Rousseff.
