Brazil puts a lot of money in anti-virus

- Brazil will deploy all necessary resources to combat zikavirus. The Brazilians are primarily interested in the deal with the biggest culprit, the mosquito that transmits the virus. That said President Dilma Rousseff Tuesday at the opening of the Brazilian parliamentary year in the capital Brasilia.

Rousseff assured the two chambers of parliament that there is no lack of money. Funds are certainly necessary now that the World Health Organization (WHO) has estimated that 1.5 million people will be infected in Brazil.

The president said that Brazil, together with the United States is working to develop a vaccine against zika, the virus almost certainly skull and caused brain abnormalities in babies.

In Chile was Tuesday when a man first established the zikavirus. This man had just returned from Colombia, where the virus has been circulating for longer.
