los angeles - David Bowie on Sunday in Los Angeles posthumously won all the Grammys for which he was nominated.

The album Black Star of the deceased singer last year won the prestigious music awards for artwork and sound technique and the best alternative music album. The eponymous track of the album received prizes for best rock performance and best rock song.

The 25th studio album of British singer came on his 69th birthday in January 2016. Two days later, Bowie died of liver cancer.

It is notable that David Bowie during his lifetime had won only two Grammys. In 1985 he was awarded the prize for best music video for Jazzin 'For Blue Jean. In 2006, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award.
