Bommelder international train remains stuck

borne - The 45-year-old man from Malta who at the end of last year made a false bombshell that cleared the international train between Amsterdam and Berlin, remains stuck. His pre-trial detention has been extended by two weeks, the Public Prosecution Service reports Wednesday.

The man claimed that he had found a threatening letter at Amsterdam Central, after which the train at Oldenzaal was stopped and evacuated. That letter did not appear to exist.
