Bombing Iraq demands twenty deaths

The attack in the town eighty kilometers northeast of the capital Baghdad Monday was the third deadly attack on one day in the country. In Baghdad were at least seven people died and 27 others injured when a car bomb exploded at a shopping center. In Baquba, 65 kilometers northeast of the capital, three people were slain and eight others were wounded when a car bomb exploded at a restaurant.
That last attack was claimed by IS, the others (yet). Sunni fighters from Islamic State prevalent in large parts of the north and west of the country and carry out regular attacks on Shiites in the capital and other parts of the country.
- In a double bomb attack on a cafe in the Iraqi town of Muqdadiya on Monday at least twenty people have been killed and fifty others injured. A suicide bomber blew himself up in a casino, and a car bomb went off moments later as aid workers and civilians had gathered outside.
