Body missing Lindsey (10) found after nine years

mccleary - The mortal remains of the 10-year-old American girl Lindsey Baum was found after more than nine hundred kilometers from where she disappeared.

'We brought Lindsey home,' the sheriff said at a press conference in Lindsey's hometown of McCleary in Washington state. The remains were already found in September 2017 at a remote location in Kittitas County, Washington, but recently only identified. The police did not start from a crime.

Lindsey disappeared on 26 June 2009 after she had swum with a girlfriend and walked to another friend's house. It was a ten-minute walk, but Lindsey was never seen again. No suspect was arrested despite numerous tips.

Her mother kept hoping to keep her daughter in the arms. The police still hope to be able to arrest a suspect.
