Body Eric Geboers from water

mol - The body of Eric Geboers has been taken out of the water, says Alain Remure of the Missing Persons Cell. The ex-world champion motocross jumped out of a pleasure boat at recreational lake Miramar in the Belgian Mol on Sunday evening to save a dog, but did not come up anymore.

The 55-year-old Geboers, multiple world champion in the motocross, was, according to the VRT, together with some friends on a pleasure boat, when a small dog jumped on board. Geboers immediately jumped behind the animal. 'One of the other people on board also jumped into the water to save Geboers, but soon found himself in trouble because of the extremely cold water', says mayor Paul Rotthier.
