Bloody year in Mexico

mexico city - Mexico is having a bloody year. Since the beginning of January 23,968 people have died from murder and manslaughter and that is the largest number in a year in the country's modern history.

The Mexican Ministry of the Interior revealed the figures on Tuesday. The cause of the murder is the wars between drug cartels. Only in the month of October 2764 people died from violence. That is the largest number in the twenty years that this is being tracked.

Up to now, 2011 was recorded as the bloodiest year with 22 852 deaths from violence
