Bizarre showing in parliament: opposition throws with tear gas

pristina - Bizarre situation in the Kosovo Parliament. In order to prevent a vote on border agreements with Montenegro, members of the opposition threw a few tees of tear gas into the hall on Wednesday.

The 120 parliamentarians sought a safe haven. The room in the Balkan country was evacuated and the vote could not go ahead. When the vote will take place, it is still unclear.

Opposition party Vetevendosje is fierce against the agreement with Montenegro. The deal is an important condition for Kosovo citizens to travel through the European Union fish-free.

Two years ago, the same party also used tear gas to express dissatisfaction with the state of affairs.
