'Birthplace Hitler expropriate'

- Austria wants to expropriate of Adolf Hitler's birth house. To this end the Austrian Ministry of the Interior decided on Friday, after the years had negotiated in vain with the current owner on the use of the empty house in the city of Braunau am Inn, as the Oberösterreichische Nachrichten reported Saturday.

The Ministry has since 1972 main tenant. Until 2011 there was a sheltered workshop in the building for the disabled. When the owner refused to remodel the house to make it more accessible to the disabled, the property became vacant.
