'Bin Salman called Khashoggi danger'
washington - The Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman described the murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the days after his disappearance as a dangerous Islamist, member of the Muslim Brotherhood. He said, according to The Washington Post, in a telephone conversation with Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and safety advisor John Bolton before Riyadh admitted that the columnist had died in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
The attempt of the de facto power in Saudi Arabia to put Khashoggi in a bad light, contrasts sharply with the later government statement in which the death of the journalist was rejected as a 'horrible mistake' and a 'terrible tragedy. 'The event was' very painful for all Saudis and unjustifiable, 'said Prince Mohammed last week in a forum discussion.
