Big action against Germany Salafists

hildesheim - German police on Tuesday carried out a major operation against Salafists in the city of Hildesheim. It was partly searched a mosque that is seen by the authorities as ' nationwide hotspot for radical Salafists'.

The Ministry of the Interior of Lower Saxony banned Tuesday morning the Salafist organization in Hildesheim (DIK). The perpetrator of the attack on the Christmas market in Berlin in December, Anis Amri, wrong even in Salafist circles in the German city.

Police also searched houses of eight members of the association. Total of 370 police officers and other officials were involved in the action.
