washington - Critics from the US President Donald Trump have been baffled at his press conference with Vladimir Putin in Finland. Democrats accuse the president of choosing the Russian leader and ignoring the advice of his own intelligence services.

Trump showed Monday that he is not convinced that Russia has tried to influence the 2016 elections, as his intelligence services think. He also stated that both countries are guilty of the poor mutual relationship. Former CIA director John Brennan called the performance of the president 'treacherous' and concluded that Trump is 'completely in Putin's pocket'.
