- The left-wing presidential candidate Bernie Sanders Thursday went to visit the Democratic President Barack Obama. Sanders has almost certainly failed attempt to become the presidential candidate for the Democratic Party. Democratic President Obama moved in January from the White House. In November there are presidential elections.
Sanders argues also campaign in the US capital. There are the last Tuesday primaries for the party. The self-proclaimed socialist Sanders has been estimated that around 43 percent of the votes cast in the Democratic primaries. His rival Hillary Clinton more than 55 percent. Prominent Democrats including Obama hope Sanders acquiesces quick defeat and Clinton's support.
The party chooses 25-28 July on a conference in Philadelphia the presidential candidate.
