berlin - Germany rejected asylum seekers hardly expelled from North Africa last year. From January to November, there are reduced according to the Ministry of the Interior 368 people in a North African country. In the same period showed the German immigration and asylum office 8363 applications for asylum from people from these countries off.

Actual expansion, according to the Ministry complicated by several factors. If people have no papers or the country of origin refuses to take to nationals again, runs expansion delayed. Others may stay longer on the grounds of ill health.

Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere traveled last spring to Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria to discuss taking back rejected asylum seekers. End of this month traveling the Dutch ministers Bert Koenders (Foreign Affairs) and Klaas Dijkhoff` (Security and Justice) to Morocco to discuss the return of failed asylum seekers to that country.
