brussels - Belgium wants to better secure its stations. Minister of Mobility Jacqueline Galant has asked the government for this purpose to release 58.5 million euros.

The money will be put to the minister gates 295 and 257 scanners to check luggage. Writes La Libre Belgique Tuesday.

Minister Galant confirmed in September, after the foiled attack on a Thalys high-speed trains between Brussels and Paris in August, they have more control systems such as turnstiles wanted in the stations.
