Belgium fears invasion asylum in Calais

BRUSSELS The Belgians fear an invasion of refugees from the French Calais, now that the refugee camp 'The Jungle' is dismantled.

Recently, the oldest part of the camp was evacuated, but many residents were still in the newer part. Which is now closed, so there remain 750 berths in containers. That means that 1,500 migrants who wish to England, no shelter anymore.

Belgium is afraid that these people are all pulling for the Belgian coast. Quot; The refugees threaten to become a pawn between France and Belgium, say aid workers.
