Belgium denies arrest warrant Puigdemont

The Spanish newspapers El País and El Mundo write that the Public Prosecutor's Office issued a warrant against Puigdemont and his fellow citizens on Sunday afternoon.

Puigdemont went to Belgium after his government was fired after a unilateral declaration of independence. The deputy Catalan leader called on Saturday to become a united political front in the elections of 21 December.
