brussels - The Belgian federal police since the attacks in November 241 radical accounts on social media in Paris closed. It was about 138 103 Twitter accounts and Facebook profiles where terrorist acts were glorified, with new attacks threatened or called for hatred.
So says Minister Jan Jambon (Interior) Saturday in two Belgian newspapers. The radical messages were detected by the Internet Referral Unit (IRU), a unit within the Federal Police which was established six months ago after close links came to light between Belgium and the bombers of 'Paris'.
