Belgium and Denmark prolong border control

brussels - Belgium and Denmark remain provisional control their borders. Both countries have informed this to the European Commission, which must give formal permission.

Belgium extends the controls along the border with France in the coastal strip of twenty days. The southern neighbors want this to stop migrants who have left the camp in the French Calais. If necessary, re-applied for renewal, according to Interior Minister Jan Jambon.

Denmark still wants to extend the checks at borders with Sweden and Germany until April 3, a commission spokesman announced Thursday.
