Belgian takes daily dive despite winter cold (in Adam's costume)

A friend of Birger filmed his fresh dive. He also recorded how the 27-year-old fanatics are still on the ground after his dive, where he makes an 'angel' in the snow.

Every day for his work, Birger takes an ice-cold shower, he tells the Belgian news site Nieuwsblad. 'Followed by a half minute burning hot to go back to the coldest. That is a ritual. '

The Belgian was in the news earlier when he ate a scorpion with skin and hair. He wanted to bring the taboo around the so-called compartment syndrome- a condition that he himself has- to the attention. People with this condition suffer from a disturbance of the blood supply.

He has more plans to continue this mission. 'My big dream is still crossing the North Sea with an inflatable boat and collecting funds for research into that syndrome. '
