Belgian singer Maurane died shortly after comeback

schaarbeek - The Belgian singer Maurane died at the age of 57. She was found in her bed in her house in Schaerbeek on Monday evening.

The police are investigating her death. According to a spokesman, the death is not considered suspicious at the moment.

Maurane, whose real name is Claudine Luypaerts, was born on November 12, 1960. She is the daughter of a composer and a piano teacher. She made eleven albums in total. In 1986 she released her first album Dancer. Her latest album, Ouvre, was released in 2014. Since 2016 she has held up the artist's life due to problems with her vocal cords.

Last weekend, however, Maurane made her comeback in Brussels. In addition, the singer also worked on a new album in honor of Jacques Brel, which was planned for the fall of 2018. Next year she would go on tour.
