Babysitter 7-year-old boy suspected of manslaughter

kunzelsau - The babysitter of the 7-year-old boy who was found strangled on Saturday in her home in Künzelsau near Heilbronn will remain in pre-trial detention on suspicion of manslaughter. The Public Prosecutor said Monday that the 69-year-old woman is the only suspect. The coroner confirmed that 'violence on the boy's neck' is the cause of death.

The parents went to pick up their son on Saturday and found him dead in the bathtub. The woman who looked after him, an old acquaintance of the family, was without trace. She could be arrested Sunday after a tip.
