Attack on US university

kabul - The American University in Kabul was attacked Wednesday. There were explosions and gunfire were heard. A number of professors and students would be hiding in the building. Numbers are not known. It is not clear who is behind the attack.

A photographer of Associated Press sent an alarming tweet in the world. 'Help, we are locked into the American Universtity. This may well be my last tweet. '

The Afghan Interior Ministry is aware of the reports but could not say anything about casualties.
