At least six killed by avalanches in South Tyrol

ahrntal - Certainly six skiers were killed Saturday when an avalanche came down in the Italian city Ahrntal. May be even more people under the snow mass, reported the Italian news agency Ansa. Rescue Troops with sniffer dogs en route to the area in South Tyrol.
Several skiers managed to free himself from the snow drifts. Some of them are injured. The victims' nationality is not yet known.
The avalanche made himself Saturday morning separately from the Monte Nevoso, which has a height of 3358 meters and is located in the Rieserfernergebergte.
