At least 40 injured in serious bus accident Germany

ammerndorf - By a collision between two buses at the German Ammerndorf in Bavaria, at least forty people were wounded on Thursday, of which five were serious. Among the injured were children and adults, said a spokesman for the local police. Two school children and the two bus drivers were seriously injured.

According to initial findings from the police, the two buses collided head-on. Another car then drove against one of the buses. The cause of the collision was still unclear.

Several rescue helicopters flew the wounded to surrounding hospitals. Ammerndorf is about 20 kilometers from Nuremberg.
