new delhi - In India, at least twenty people were killed Saturday when a train derailed in the eastern state of Andhra Pradesh. Many people were injured. The railway company announced that seven carriages and the locomotive of the rails have become, reports The Indian Times.

Emergency services fear that the death toll rises further. Many people still trapped in the wreckage. Injured persons have been removed from the train, were taken to two nearby hospitals. The train was en route from Jagdalpur to Bhubaneswar, the state capital of Odisha.

Last November, more than 140 people dead and more than two hundred people were injured when fourteen trains of Indore-Patna Express derailed. The accident was the deadliest in six years in India.
