'Arrest in Case shot imam'

- The police on Monday in New York arrested a man in connection with the murder of an imam and his assistant. This was reported by NBC News. Both were shot in the head when they went home Saturday from a mosque in the borough of Queens.

The man who was arrested early Monday morning, meets the description of the shooter. He was arrested when he returned to the car at the scene of the murder.

The motive of the perpetrator is still unknown. According to police, there were no indications that they were killed for their faith. But the Muslim community in New York believes that there are religious motives behind the killings.
