Arrest after small explosion metro London

london - The police in London have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the small explosion Tuesday in a subway station in the north of the British capital. He is suspected of possibly causing an explosion to damage and endanger security in the subway, according to British media.

The police, who do not speak of terror, think that the explosion in the Southgate station was caused by a battery of a drilling machine. Eyewitnesses spoke of a rubbery smell and flames nearly two meters high.

Five people were injured. Two of them were taken to the hospital.
