Army Israel kills two Palestinians

gaza city - Israeli soldiers have shot two Palestinians who tried to enter Israel from the Gaza Strip. The military states that they intended to 'damage the security infrastructure in the area with the security fence' at the border of the Palestinian enclave.

Soldiers fired in the direction of three persons, two of whom were killed according to the army. Nothing has been disclosed about the fate of the third Palestinian. Palestinian officials confirm that two men were killed at Khan Younis, a town in the south of the Gaza Strip.

It has been uneasy for weeks on the border between Gaza and Israel. Palestinians have been demonstrating at the border fence since the end of March. Dozens of people died during these protests. Six Hamas members were also killed on Saturday by an explosion in the Gaza Strip. The cause of that explosion has not been disclosed.
