Army bases US gets package with explosives without igniter

washington - Several US government agencies in the Washington D.C. region, including two army bases, received suspicious packages on Monday. The FBI investigates the packages, the police have informed.

Among the locations where the packages were delivered were Fort McNair and Fort Belvoir, two military bases of the United States. 'The FBI has come down to several government agencies after reporting suspicious packages', a spokesman said.

A few hours later, a spokesperson for the US Army Explosives Settlement Service confirmed that the package of explosives delivered to Fort McNair had been included and that an igniter had been attached.
