Apple tackles spam through agenda

- Apple seems to work on tackling spam through the Calendar application. According to AppleInsider, Apple this weekend added a button to iCloud, which allows people to report spam calls.

The wave of spam came last month started. Users received invitations to all kinds of offers through the Calendar application. By accepting the invitation or decline the spammers know that the e-mail account was active, because it is sent to the automatic reject or accept a notification. With this trick the spammers were able to bypass e-mail filters.

AppleInsider believes that Apple with the messages that users do, takes a list of spammers. Which are then blocked.

As yet, the button to report spam only introduced iCloud. com, Apple's cloud service. The expectation is that the button will soon be found in the Calendar application on iOS and MacOS.
