Apple sees bread chip division Toshiba '

tokyo (afn) - Apple is considering investing billions in the memory chip division of the ailing Japanese technology company Toshiba. Reported that the Japanese television station NHK Friday based on anonymous sources.

Apple would take a 20 percent stake in the chip business. The iPhone maker would thereby work together with the Chinese chip company Foxconn, which would take a 30 percent interest. Toshiba would themselves hold part of the shares after the deal.
