App sends sick mayor Amsterdam map

amsterdam - Amsterdam and others mayor Eberhard van der Laan via a special app to send a card. Van der Laan suffering from metastatic lung cancer and announced last week that the prospects are not good.

The service is called Eberhard Post and is part of the app Omapost. There, people can design a card and writing, which is then printed and sent physically, through the old-fashioned mail. Omapost pays the bill for the tickets to Van der Laan. '' This is a man who is an example for many people. We want the mayor therefore like stabbing a shot in the arm, '' says founder Wilbert van de Kamp against the AD.

Eberhard Post is in an update of Omapost becoming available Tuesday and remains active for at least two weeks.
