hatton - A Scottish farmer called in the help of armed cops after he saw a tiger in his cowshed. He sent a slightly shaky photo of the animal that lay quietly in the stable as proof.
The police rushed with all their might and checked at a nearby game park if perhaps an animal had escaped.
In the yard of the farmer in Hatton, however, the 'broken-off tiger' did not seem so dangerous at all. The police soon saw that it was a life-sized plush tiger that someone had left behind in the barn.
The police take the incident laconically. 'It was a false alarm done with honest intentions,' a spokesman told the BBC.
