Another Palestinian killed at Gaza border

gaza - The Israeli Air Force killed a Palestinian man at the border with the Gaza Strip. The death toll since the beginning of the large-scale protests in the area has now risen to at least nineteen.

The Israeli army reports that a fighter unit opened fire on an armed man at the security fence to Israel. The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that a 34-year-old man was killed.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians began demonstrations along the border last Friday. The protest actions must last until 15 May. The Palestinians commemorate that date as Catastrophe Day because about 700,000 Palestinians fled or expelled during the Arab-Israeli war in 1948.
