Angry Turks stop NATO exercise after blunder

istanbul - The Turkish government recovered 40 soldiers after a very painful blunder from Norway who were engaged in a NATO exercise. In the exercise, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and founder of the Turkish state Mustafa Kemal Atatürk were identified as enemies and targets. NATO is currently conducting a major exercise in Stavanger, Norway.

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg apologized for the blunder. Turkey has been a member of NATO since 1952. 'The incident does not reflect the vision of NATO. Turkey is a valued NATO member that makes an important contribution to the security of the alliance ', says Stoltenberg.
