moscow - Human rights organization Amnesty International (AI) in Moscow was Wednesday before closed doors. A staff member said that the locks have been changed and the power is shut off. It is not clear who is behind this.
The Russian branch of AI was in Moscow until Wednesday housed in a building of a public company. Human rights organizations with overseas connections, such as foreign funding are under growing pressure from the Russian authorities.
